Circle of The Flame – Druid

Druids in this circle believe all life is equal with destruction and you can not have one without the other. These druids do not believe in mindless destruction but rather composed destruction such as burning a field to bring more life in the next crop.

They focus on the stability of life rather than the holiness of life. Through this path one heals those around them in a way many have not seen before, using fire as their path to renew rather than destroy.

Flaming Renewal

2nd-level Circle of Embers feature

You gain a number d8’s equal to your spell casting ability modifier. As a bonus action you may use one flaming renewal die to heal an ally within 60 feet of you that you can see for the amount rolled + your spellcasting ability modifier. You may only roll one flaming renewal die per turn. You regain all expended flaming renewal die after a long rest. At level 6 they turn into d10’s and level 10 they turn into d12’s.

Natural Recovery

2nd-level Circle of Embers feature

Starting at 2nd level, you can regain some of your magical energy by sitting in meditation and communing with nature. During a short rest, you choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your druid level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

For example, when you are a 4th-level druid, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level slot or two 1st-level slots.

Mending Adept

6th-level Circle of Embers feature

Whenever an ally within 60 feet of you that you can see takes damage from an attack, you may use your reaction to use a flaming renewal die on them. You may use this feature even if you already used a flaming renewal die on your last turn.

Fiery Beasts

9th-level Circle of Embers feature

You gain the ability to cast spells in beast form (spells cast while in wild shape forgo verbal, somatic and material components). Additionally when you use wild shape, beasts you turn into have the effects of the Fire Shield spell.

Touch of Cleansing

14th-level Circle of Embers feature

Once per long rest you can touch yourself or an ally as an action to restore hit points equal to half of the target’s max hit points and cure them of all poisons and diseases.

Aren’t rogues supposed to be IN-conspicuous? Well yes, yes they are. My first episode with the Nat1Knights I failed a stealth check, got caught, and put the party in JAIL when they were on the verge of a breakthrough! Being I don’t know how to make a clip over 60 seconds yet, I will attach the video below and say the clip of catastrophe starts at 1:42:50.

The Conspicuous Rogue Gets Ready For Action (1:42:50)

Further “lore” behind the name would be I have always enjoyed the rogue class in other campaigns that I have played, in other games I have played, and I thoroughly enjoy the aesthetic behind the shadowy presence of a rogue. HOWEVER, I enjoy playing characters that talk a lot (maybe too much) and I myself may have been told I like the sound of my own voice IRL… With this I thought I would put two of my sandwich the two ideas together and create a blog where I can simply talk about something I am passionate about, while also learning the basics to website design.

I have always wanted to build a website, but have never really had the motivation to do so. I started thinking though… why not build a website for fun based on something that I am passionate about.

I play dnd with a group and we call ourselves the Nat1Knights. I was thinking: we have a YouTube, a Patreon, a TikTok, and we stream on Twitch when we can. Beyond this I thought I would build a spin off website focused on my experience with dnd.

I plan on doing this solely for fun and hope by sharing my experience with dnd it will either inspire some ideas for others or to help even one person understand the basics and give dnd a shot. Below is a a brief preview of what I hope to add to my site in the future.
